About Secret Bad Boy
Secret Bad Boy is the art-pop project of Ben Joseph, a Chicago musician who has spent years in Ezra Furman's band and has worked on projects including May Erlewine and Woody and Jeremy. The songs are built on thick, synth-led textures with a taste for the unexpected turn, and they are meant to be both intense and sincere. Joseph has pulled in help from Woody Goss of Vulfpeck, members of Mild High Club and I Fight Dragons, and Paul Von Mertens, a Brian Wilson collaborator. A string of singles is coming through 2026, leading up to a debut album in 2027.
