About BIRP!
Hey there! I'm Josh, and I've been curating BIRP! (originally Blalock's Indie/Rock Playlist) since February 2009. What started as a simple way to share music I was excited about has grown into something much bigger.
Every month, I put together a playlist of 100+ tracks from independent artists across the indie spectrum. These playlists are completely free to stream and download, and you can also find them on Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube, Deezer, Tidal, and more. It's my way of shining a light on the incredible independent music that deserves to be heard.

Due to the overwhelming volume of submissions (100+ emails daily!), we've moved to using Groover for all music submissions. This helps us stay organized and ensures every submission gets the attention it deserves. You're guaranteed a response!
