VedeTT's "Temple" was composed by Florent Vincelot and arranged by Vincelot alongside Simon Garnier, Stw and François L'haridon. Clive Martin recorded, produced and mixed the track at Love Island Studio, and the band thanks Le Chabada and Tostaky for their support. Released through Echo Orange, it is a rich, layered piece of French indie pop that made its way onto our November 2016 playlist. The production is warm and detailed, and it repays repeat listens.

About VedeTT

VedeTT is the solo project of Florent Vincelot, who also records as Nerlov, and for five years now it has been out on the international pop circuit with a sincere, personal strain of what he calls spleen-wave. The project has been evolving since 2012, backed by Chabada, the rock venue in Angers, and has played French festivals and rooms including Levitation, Stereolux, Nouveau Casino, Flèche d'Or and Carreau du Temple in Paris, and more recently two runs of concerts in Austin, Texas, for SXSW and Levitation US. His first album, « Tuer les Gens », came out in 2016. The songs sit between melancholic new wave and cold-wave pop, in the line of The Cure, Joy Division, Motorama and early Daho, back when Nerlov sang in French. On record the album is deliberately cold and straight; live, with Simon Garnier on drums and Stw on guitar, it turns stormy, tense and warm, closer to shoegaze. A new EP, Losing All, arrived in December 2017.
