Son!, the project also known as Sonthingnew, made our Best Of 2018 playlist with "Dog", a track the artist produced and mixed alone. Nikolai Hagen shot and directed the video and edited it together with Daniel Kaplan, with additional edits by Pherow Drain and extra camera work from Grant Horst. The dog in question is played by Ziggy, who deserves the credit. It is a scrappy, homemade clip for a song that has plenty of personality of its own, and it stuck with us through the whole year.
