Parrot Dream started in Santiago, Chile, in 2013, when Christina Hansen Appel, on vocals and keys, and Gonzalo Guerrero, on guitar, began playing together. The duo relocated to Brooklyn, and the years that followed became the material for their debut full-length, Light Goes. Written across two years, its ten tracks turn on connection, love, memories and clarity, and oscillate between the uplifting and the elegiac — Appel's hypnotic synths and wistful singing set against Guerrero's incendiary guitars, starting with the driving title track. Good Eye Records released it digitally and on vinyl, including a limited Blood Red colour run, on August 24th, 2018.
