Long Beard's "Turkeys" comes from Sleepwalker, released October 23, 2015 on Team Love Records, and it appeared on our November 2015 playlist. Anthony Palma directed, shot and edited the video. Leslie Bear's project trades in soft, half-lit bedroom pop, and this song is a good example of its gentle pull. The clip keeps things quiet and observational to match. It is an understated highlight of the album.
About Long Beard
Long Beard, named after a wizard, is the project and stage name of Leslie Bear. She formed it in 2013 and played the basements of New Brunswick, New Jersey before releasing a first album, Sleepwalker, in 2015. A second, Means To Me, came in 2019.
