"2048" is the first single from Color Collage's album Pieced Together, released on Paper Garden Records. Daniel Shogren directed the video, which The Wild Honey Pie premiered, with Kate Bennis serving as director of photography and editor and Zander Merle-Smith on gaffer and grip duties. The song is a warm, hazy bit of bedroom pop that unfolds gently over its running time. It made a fine addition to our March 2015 playlist.
About Color Collage
Color Collage started as a solo project and grew into a band that bandleader Shane Conerty assembled to play the songs live. He writes witty, socially conscious allegories with a dark turn to them and delivers them through bright indie pop that sets modern and vintage sounds side by side.
