Pterodactyl

Pterodactyl are Joe Kremer, Matt Marlin and Kurt Beals, who began working out their shrieking, stomping indie rock in the early 2000s, packing an intense, complex sound that drew on bands like Polvo and Modest Mouse. They formed in Ohio and relocated to Brooklyn, where Brah Records took notice. Their self-titled debut, unofficially known as Bluejay, came out in 2007; the more mature Worldwild followed two years later, and Spills Out in 2011.
