Mei Ehara

Mei Ehara is a singer-songwriter, born in 1991 and based in Tokyo. After several self-released recordings she put out her first full-length, Sway, in 2017 and a second, Ampersands, in 2020, both on the indie label KAKUBARHYTHM. Her third album, All About McGuffin, arrived in autumn 2025. In 2021 she co-wrote lyrics and sang on Faye Webster's second album, I Know I'm Funny Haha, and in 2022 she sang on Cornelius' single Change and Vanish (feat. mei ehara). She has guested on plenty of other people's records over the years. In 2024 she joined Faye Webster's U.S. tour as the opening act, and in 2025 she headlined a tour of the United States of her own.
