High Waisted

High Waisted are a gang of surf rockers out of New York with pop instincts, feminist ideals and an affliction for rock and roll, and they describe what they make as a psychedelic lullaby. 'Love Child' runs on vintage guitars, bongos and sultry vocals pointed squarely at the 1960s, while the newer 'Tanlines' lingers like the memory of a summer romance. In 2023 the band came back at full velocity, still reviving that 60s sound and something close to an Austin Powers fever dream.
