Canongate

Canongate started in 2016 between two friends, guitarist Dylan and drummer Leon, and grew as their musical passion did. The loose description is alt indie, but an experimental streak means the kind of music can change from one song to the next and often inside a single one. Their newest release is a song called ME & MY GUITAR. They have made their name around the Edinburgh scene and beyond it, featuring on BBC Introducing radio in the UK. In their first year of gigging they played King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow and Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh, along with a homemade headline show in a studio that they put on themselves. They have a backlog of entire albums of original material and large ambitions for it.
