American ambient-pop duo plume - Paige Pfleger, an ex-high school marimbist and current public radio personality, and Aaron Sternick, a synth-obsessed tone junkie - merge their distinct attitudes to rarefy the fussy, celestial threads of plume. Ivy Eyes emerges from years of Aaron developing his distinct voice for vaporous production and dramatic bedroom pop before Paige layered her anthemic hooks and haunting, gossamer voice. The music floods you with a haze of wispy spindles of guitar and dense synth beds – calling to memory the nostalgic qualities of Broadcast, Arthur Russel and The Knife. Ivy Eyes will be out November 3, 2017 before plume plays 16 dates up and down the east coast.
